UMass beat Nut U, Akron lost to Buffalo

UMass has been on the uptick lately winning 3 of 4 and Akron has been free falling having lost 4 in a row. I am shocked this line is what it is so I will happily take the Minutemen here on the road. I think they will also just go ahead and win this one outright. This would be the 3^rd straight week Akron was favored in a mid-week game and lost it outright. C’mon Vegas.

Akron -3.5 at Buffalo

Akron lost to BG, Buffalo lost to Ohio

 Akron choked away its chance at the MAC (L)East last weekend and now has to recover to try and get the first of 2 wins to make a bowl. Buffalo is really bad and this game will knock them from any bowl chances. If you are sadistic enough to watch to watch some of this, make sure it is only during commercials for Toledo-NIU.

Toledo beat Kent St, NIU beat Ball St

The best rivalry in the MAC and as good of any in the Midwest over the last 15 years with both teams consistently fighting for division & MAC titles. This rivalry has ebbed n flowed in one sided directions. After not beating Toledo for decades NIU broke through the glASS Bowl in 05’ with me in house but lost 3 of the next 4 to the hated Rockets. Starting in 2010 things changed with Guider and myself at Huskie Stadium to see a 65-30 Huskie win that started a Harnish/Lynch barrage of 4 straight Huskie wins with NIU winning those by an avg score of 48.5-35.25. Toledo is a game up in the MAC West and could basically lock it up here with a win. No chance, this one is in DeKalb where no current Rockets player has won and Drew Hare’s Huskies will run Cameron Stinkley down the Rockets throats with Michael the Burner Turner in house cheering them on.

BG +7 at Akron

Both teams were off to prepare for #MACtion

This is basically the MAC (L)East game of the year! These are the only 2 teams in the division with less than 3 losses and a BG win here would essentially lock up back to back MAC (L)East titles and give them a shot at back to back MAC titles. This should be a close game and it is hard to pick against BG especially with Akron coming off back to back road losses. BG gets it done on the road.

 The Rockets are the only team w/o a loss in the MAC and they put that on the line against dog shit Kent St here. The only way this stays close is if Josh Cribbs and Julian Edelman come back to Kent State and run a dual qb read option game. Toledo wins easily and gets an extra day of rest before heading to face NIU next hoping to avoid their 5th straight loss to the Huskies.
